The accelerator that completes the bonding system. Cyanoacrylate cures on contact with surface moisture, which is slow and uneven on dry or porous frame material. An activator is sprayed on one face while the adhesive goes on the other; bringing them together triggers a near-instant cure. On a sieve frame that is the difference between holding a panel by hand for a minute and having it seize as it seats.
